Ginny Rehberg
Ginny Rehberg is the President of Rehberg Management Group, a career consulting, executive coaching and outplacement firm. Ginny is a nationally-recognized expert on career and workplace issues, and is known in the Boston area as The Career Doctor for her work with CBS-affiliate WBZ-TV in the past several years. Along with television and radio appearances, Ginny is frequently quoted in the national press, and is a sought-after keynote speaker and presenter.
Ginny’s broad expertise in coaching professionals and executives has earned her firm a solid reputation and excellent results in outplacement, executive coaching, job search, career transitions, advancement and negotiations. Her clients come from diverse industries such as healthcare, technology, biotechnology, manufacturing, real estate, retailing, broadcasting, law and management consulting. Well-known corporate clients include Blue Cross Blue Shield, Millipore, Liberty Mutual, Boston Scientific, Caritas Christi Health Care, Gulf Oil, Koch Industries and Goldman Sachs. Rehberg Management Group has a strong track record in all types of transition, helping both management and individuals find solutions to employment issues.
A former Vice President with Drake Beam Morin and Lee Hecht Harrison (the #1 and #3 career management firms, respectively), Ginny’s background includes counseling, management consulting and business development. Her career experience also includes financial services and international trade. She worked in sales and marketing for Bank of New England and State Street Bank and Trust Company, both in the U.S. and in Hong Kong. She has also held positions in public relations, law and journalism, beginning her career as a newspaper reporter in Connecticut. It is this broad business background that provides Ginny with perspective and insight that benefits her clients.
Ginny has served on the International Board of Directors of the Washington D.C.-based Association of Career Professionals International and was the former President of the Boston chapter of ACP International (formerly IACMP). She has served on the Board of Directors of the Human Resource Council and is the former President of Women in World Trade.
Currently, she is an active member of the Chief Executive Officers (CEO) Club of Boston , the Human Resources Leadership Forum (formerly HRMG), Human Resource Council and the Massachusetts Healthcare Human Resource Association where she chairs the Membership Committee of the Board of Directors. Ginny was a member of the Board of Visitors of the Women’s Educational and Industrial Union where she volunteered her time and expertise to help disadvantaged women develop professional skills.
Recently, Ginny was named a Top 10 Executive Coach by Women’s Business, a Boston Herald publication. Ginny was a Columnist for the Boston Herald’s career website jobfind.com and has been quoted in the Boston Globe. Additionally, she has been quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and National Public Radio.
Ginny holds a degree in Communications Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and is qualified to deliver the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). She is the author of “The Career Guide” and “The Career Development Guide.”
